Hey all, I am quite pleased that the good folks here chose to publish my latest piece, "The Perils of Persnickety" and while I FULLY understand that when you have a piece that rhymes from beginning to end, it makes sense to list it as a "poem". But as one kind commenter observed, there was an initial hesitation is reading a poem of Persnickety's length. So, to be clear, "The Perils of Persnickety" is much more of a short story told in the style of Dr. Seuss (and even has Seussian references to "Who's and Grinches") than "The Charge of the Light Brigade". So If you like Dr. Seuss.......and spanking....give it a shot. It certainly is way more "Green Eggs and Ham" than "The Bell Jar". LOL
