Female Olympic Ice Skaters being spanked

There is a great line in the movie "The Cutting Edge" where the coach yells at Kate,

"I wants to see her ass in the air."

Kate played by Moria Kelly skates of while bending over slightly, lifts her skirt and flashes her ice blue colored panty-clad bottom to the photographers delight. She plays a brat who needs a spanking!

I remember 'Cutting Edge'. How her partner got through that film without spanking her is a testament to his iron will.

I hadn't heard about the ice skaters but I do remember an American female martial arts competitor who went to Korea to train and said it was pretty darn common for the instructors to cane or paddle students who didn't preform well. Apparently it's a very accepted practice in Korea.

I've heard about Taekwondo schools over there that do this. It's not spanking or caning as we knew it though. If you fall during training or don't do something correctly they'll hit you with sticks until you get up or until you do the exercise correctly. From what I was told it's fairly brutal, but with them Taekwondo isn't just a martial art or an activity, it's a way of life.

No, but one time I distinctly heard Dick Button comment on Peggy Fleming by saying, "She has the best ass in the business." This snippet blew right by the ABC censors.

I took karate over 40 years ago. I never saw my instructor spank anyone in class, but he would sure hit anyone who made a mistake. he also had a technique of having the class to line down on their backs and do a leg lift. We were supposed to hold our legs 6 inches from the floor. Then he would walk across our stomachs. Sometimes he would stop and discuss the mistakes of a student while standing on that student's stomach.
I was over at his house one day when he spanked his wife. he took her into another room, so I didn't get to see the spanking, but I could hear it. It didn't sound like much of a spanking, but it was probably embarrassing for her, especially with me in the house.
