Spanking Cannot Solve Everything

New story with a slight twist to the tale. A twist that perhaps reflects real life more than one getting a spanking and everything is OK or the problem is solved. Real life is not nice sometimes and sometimes things happen that do not make everyone happy. For those who are wondering there is a spanking involved but it does not solve everything.

I have to say that this was one of the best stories in the library. As fiction goes with a very hard touch of reality, this is the one. It leaves the reader with the question of who was right and who was wrong. That being, drinking and driving, and putting the blame on a parent for the loss of a parent. (Mother) The title says it all in this story. The young boy shows his stuff in this tale. He goes along with everything dished out to him, but doesn't back down. As Rocky Balboa said to his son in Rocky Balboa: It's not how hard you can hit, it's how hard you get hit and keep moving forward.

If you can read the ending of this story without your mouth dropping open and, your heart aching, you just weren't paying attention. Once again as in my comment, CS. Well done.

Definitely one of the best stories CS has ever written. Highly recommended for all, regardless of your normal reading preferences (i.e. M/F, F/M, F/F, etc.)!

it is certainly true to life. Thoreau was a teacher once amd there was once when some sort of supervisor came to visit his classroom. The supervisor said that thoreau did not use the rod enough. So he picked 5 kids at random, birched them and resigned on the spot. Some of the kids resented into adulthood the use of their hides to make a moral point! I cant say that i blamed them

I read something about him a few years ago and I got curious with your post, Rachel. I found it to be this way:

In 1835 he took a leave of absence from Harvard, during which he taught school in Canton, Massachusetts. After he graduated in 1837, he joined the faculty of the Concord public school, but resigned after a few weeks rather than administer corporal punishment

It just goes to show you how gossip starts out North, and by the time it goes South, East, West, and back to North again, the whole story is changed.

That Guangzhou is in China.

I really enjoyed this story because it is so different. Its not only realistic but morally more ambiguous. This is more a short story with spanking tan a spanking story. Thank you
