Spanking Chat Rooms

Are there any good/free Spanking Chat rooms?

There is a chat room here, https://spanko.net/, don't know how good it is and I suspect there is a small charge. Site seems mostly dedicated to user supplied spanking photos.

Have not gone to spanko.net for a long time but they deteriorated badlya few years after I was a regular visitor to many of their interesting discussion boards including stories. Posted several there myxelf which later ended up here.
Most of the boards eliminated or archived ,forum became a shadow of iitself.
Chat was free but at some point visitors got bombarded with endless requests for money for something called VIP membership. Saw complaints of people who paid for what was supposed to be a lifetime membership but then later got asked for renewals.Left very bad impression.
Most spanking chatrooms now seem to be for people seeking personal relationships, not for those who just !ike to discuss their thoughts and experiences.

And Spanko.net has recently undergone a major reboot which makes posting stories impractical. I agree that it is not what it was.

That was my first kink site. I thought it shut down years ago for the reasons listed.
I moved on to the LSF and Fetlife.

Some people are saying they've been blocked out of the chatrooms on spanko.net. Does anyone know why the chatroom on LSF isn't used more widely?

Spanking Needs have an active chattroom. You have to be a member but its free.

I don't understand why the chattroom for LSF and Bottom Line is not used more. Only lsfbot (a robot) is there.

It appears that chatrooms, like message boards or discussion forums generally, are no longer very popular. The social media format seems to have taken over. Don't care for it itmyxelf, never use Instagram or Twitter and have abandoned Facebook.
Anyone remember when Yahoo groups had chatroom? Met a couple of other authors there. But Yahoo dropped it and of course now Yahoo Groups are gone altogether.

I always loved Yahoo groups. Wish they were still around.

I gave up on some of the appropriate-to-LSF readers and writers groups on Goodreads a while after Amazon took them over. I met a lot of very nice people, and people who have gone on to be well known kink & erotica authors, there. Still pen-pal with a couple. There were places in those groups that functioned as chat rooms related to what the commentators above mention.

I stopped going to Goodreads several years ago although could if I wish, and think I'm still a member in some 'you must be invited' 18+ groups.

I've never published but ... it seemed to be a fabulous place for indie authors (including you gals and guys published by LSF) to develop / build a readership among potential target readers. Just don't blatantly tout your stuff, if you are a writer.

I do NOT know what the heavy hand of Amazon has changed or left the same. Just as I took a hiatus from LSF for several years, and am now enjoying my return, perhaps I should jump back in to Goodreads.
