The Bat Paddle

Remember the Batman TV show in the mid 60s when everything owned and used by Batman and Robin was called the Bat whatever You had the Bat mobile, the Bat cave and many Bat gadgets which I won't list Well now I have acquired a Bat paddle. Ive known of the existence of such a paddle for some time, but finally found an affordable one on eBay. It s made of plastic, not wood as I was expecting it to be. Its much thinner than I was expecting, just slightly more that one eighth on an inch. But it is heavier than a Fli back wooden paddle. The blade is shaped like Batman's head whit the pointed ears on each side On one side is a picture of Batman with his right fist cocked and his left fist delivering a blow, with the words ZONK, POW!, ZAP, and BAM! spaced around him On the other side is a picture f the Joker's face with the word OUCH! underneath it. I'm guessing the paddle would deliver quite a sting. Anyone familiar with the Bat paddle please comment

The Brits here might say that the paddle IS a bat.

Perhaps we need a field test. (feeld test?) Looking for a sensation that would justify the term: "POW!"

Wow, I would have loved to have seen such a paddle used on the leather-clad bottom of Barbara, the librarian in her her batgirl outfit.

When I was a kid I used to watch the old Batman show on TV and was infatuated with Julie Newmar as Catwoman. I remember writing what was probably my first spanking story at about age 15 and it was pretty much just a script for a Batman episode in which he used his "Bat Paddle" on the seat of that tight leather cat suit that she wore on the shows in which she appeared.

No, a bat is what we use in cricket. A paddle is what we use in canoeing - or spanking. I've paddled quite a few girls' bottoms - but I've never batted any.....

And of course in the US a bat is what we use in baseball . I don't think it would be very wise or desirable to hit someone with one, on thebottom or anywhrre.
Though I think I saw once a reference to a " ping pong bat" which is actually a paddle so I guess some use the two interchangeably
And sometimes " paddling" is used to mean any sort of spanking with anything including the hands and not a spanking with a paddle.

When I was in Jr. High School, I saw a few paddles that were made from broken baseball bats, they would cut the broken handle off, and plane down both sides until flat, and about 1/2 thick, notch a handle on the other end, and just like that you had a very, very effective paddle. I should know, a few got used on me.

To get through that leather catsuit you'd need a paddle with a bit of weight, but wouldn't we all have loved to see it happen!
