Talking about bum pats in sports we had an advert for the BBL (short form cricket competition) which highlighted the practice of what they called bum pats in congratulation, they actually seemed to pretty hard smacks. Unfortunately it focused on the mens, not the ladies comp.

And speaking of cricket and smacked butts, recall seeing something about some guy who streaked a cricket match and when he ran past a player,got his bare butt smacked with a cricket bat.
He's lucky he didn't get smacked by every player or ran the whole length of the field getting paddled! He would have been put on the hot seat, so to speak.
Actually it would be great to see a story about streakers , male or female, getting spanked, especially oublically.

Don't know if you remember the summer Olympics in Australia but not only did the camera crews pay undo attention to the female gymnasts posteriors but one of the male commentators said one of the gymnasts looked liked she was about to get spanked by her coach. Have you ever seen some YouTube videos iof girls competing in track and field events, like the long jump or just running ? I love those videos! I've been watching them for years as they are fodder for spanking fantasies and could be great inspirations for spanking stories. I even like them better than the beach volleyball videos which are also great. But some of the track and field videos border on soft core porn.

Changing the subject slightly, I watched "Of Freaks and Men" again this week. It still gets my vote for the greatest spanking movie of all time. Not only are there truly memorable spanking scenes (mostly F/F), but the whole film is a masterpiece: surprising, troubling, visually arresting, thought provoking and utterly unpredictable. Unfortunately it's in Russian and there are no English subtitles, but I've found that even without understanding the dialogue it's possible to get the gist of what's going on - especially after watching it several times!

Possibly less well known is the excellent spanking scene in "The Toilers and Wayfarers". I know M/m isn't to everyone's taste, but it feels to me like an unusually authentic depiction of a domestic punishment:

I apologise if this has been mentioned before but last night I watched "The Handmaiden". Not "The Handmaid's Tale" but a Korean film of an English book about the triumph of a very attractive lesbian couple over the evil men trying to take advantage of them.

A lot of very tasteful and erotic nudity, a generally S&M theme and the whipping of the red wealed bottom of one of the characters, unfortunately, for my taste, male.

My wife recorded it (having read the much less explicit book) and was not expecting all the "good bits".
