Just a quick update on my gorgeous wife Issy.
She has finally completed six months of intense chemo and battled through all the agonies that go with it.
She had an appointment with her consultant and he is happy with the progress. All her external lumps and bumps have disappeared and the doc is hopeful of the same effect internally.
She has a scan in three weeks which will tell the full story.
I'm praying the very small chink of light will grow over the coming months.
Thank you all from both of us for your thoughts and prayers from both of us. It really meas a lot.

Jim, my prayers and thoughts are with you and Issy. This sounds very promising. Hang in there, and please tell Issy the same.

A big HUG for you to transfer to HER....

TY bendover. She's like a little sparrow at the moment but your hug is on the way.

Praying for you both. If it's any comfort, my wife was a nurse in a cancer hospital and outcomes are improving all the time, I know several people who've gone through chemo (and it isn't nice) but are now clear.

I would take great comfort in the positivity expressed by the Consultant, oncologists do not give patients false hope, but you rightly see the scan as giving the definitive answer.

My thoughts are with you both, your wife having such a obviously devoted husband, bodes well for her recovery.

Very best wishes to you both for the future. I echo RosieCheeks' sentiment. It was very encouraging to see that there is evidence of progress. Long may that continue. Kind thoughts. Nick
