Paula Meadows

Many of you will recognise the name Lynn Paula Russell and her pseudonym Paula Meadows as an actress, author and illustrator. She is particularly well known for her erotic BDSM & spanking art. We use one of her images on our home page (see the wonderfully shocked expression of the drawing of the woman reading a book).

In the past, Paula was the editor of Februs magazine, and she was also a contributor to Janus and Kane, both pioneers in the spanking field at the time.

I have never read any of Paula stories or saw any artwork from her but clearly one who is experienced as she is will be a good asset to the site. Welcome aboard.

I only discovered Paula Meadows/Lynn Paula Russell yesterday. She excites me for several reasons, but mostly for her sexual courage and honesty. Yesterday, I read something she wrote about women finally being free - well, comparatively speaking - to admit to enjoying CP and all other forms of sex. She also made the point that freeing women to express their sexual interests honestly, including the more fetishistic ones - also frees men from sex guilt. Been a big fan since I discovered her artwork some years ago. Can't say I've read much of her writing but I've read a bit about her life and her other "disciplines", i.e., her "porn" career and other artwork (non-spanking related).
