'Tis the season to plug Halloween stories, and what better than a newly posted one? Such as The Spanking Ghost by yours truly?

The Spanking Ghost is a longish story - roughly 20,000 words - but is broken up in to 12 bite sized chunks. It focuses on a group of college students who are friends and working on a group project together. The 5 girls have to do a report on an urban legend and what better legend could they find than the story of the spanking ghost? Alas, complications set in and the five end up trekking towards the haunted house to gather more evidence for their project.

Here's hoping that you all find this seasonal story scary enough...

Spooky stuff time. I think spanking stories and ghost stories are naturals for each other. This is because a writer can weave spanking as a theme into a ghost story and not have to worry about all those inconvenient plausibility issues that plague a writer when attempting to devise scenarios in which a spanking makes sense. Ghosts can spank because....well, because I say they can.

Here are mine:
A Gift from Great Aunt Kate
Romanian Holiday
Miss Martin's Academy
Halloween Howler

also included, but admittedly longerThe LaForge Trilogy is a supernatural thriller novel and Willow Wood Estate has supernatural elements.

I have a Halloween special coming up, actually. In the meantime, my short story "Research" has paranormal elements.

Must also shamelessly plug my "Trick or Treat at St. Edmonds" - one of my favourites.

Although not really based on Halloween, my short series entitled "Life and Blood" has vampires in it. I think any supernatural story on site would be a good choice for Halloween.

I wrote two:

Halloween with the Headmaster
The Ghostly Girl

The latter got quite a few good comments last year, so if you haven't read it you might enjoy it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
