Napoleon startle

Went to see Napoleon today and I got a wonderful startle. Bonaparte is looking for another ruler in a deserted city and says "I'm just here to give you a little spanking." Perhaps not exact but that was the line. It would have been so Kewl if he found the guy and did exactly that or gave one to Josephine for sleeping with other men while he was away.

There is a scene in the movie Bunker Bean where he reads an anecdote that states Napoleon spanked Josephine in front of his entire court. Bet they skip that little ditty in the making. I have found one other anecdote since which implied the truth to that reality in History!

I know Queen Victoria was really into CP. It's why spanking is called the English vice.

I did NOT know that! Thanks for the information. I always wondered where that came from. Seems like quite a few Queens were into spanking: Catherine the Great, Catherine de Medici, to name two famous ones! I am sure there are more lost to history!

Here's a weird one for you. Not spanking but related. Ghandi, who I really respect, was really into enemas to the point he had his daughters give them to him. Personally, I believe enemas can be of great benefit but one should not ask/expect that of your opposite gendered kids.

Interesting info about some of those queens.

One of my favorite anecdotes about Catherine the Great. She sponsored a school for unwed young women in Russia housing some 300 plus young ladies. One evidently took a lover and found herself pregnant. When word got to the Queen, she demanded the guilty party turn herself in. When no one came forward she threatened to whip the bare bottom of every young lady until the culprit was found. Knowing her deceit would eventually reveal itself, she turned herself in only to hear it was too late and all 300 plus young ladies were soundly whipped by the Queen's guard! Quite a heavy hand for a benefactor!
