Browser QuestionSs

Some time back I saw a post here that recommended using Mozilla Firefox as the best browser for viewing this site,one i used when I had a desktop. However have been using tablets past several years, first an ipad and now Amazon Fire, no issues with their browsers. Have now acquired a laptop that uses Window 8(Microsoft Edge). Now wonder if should download Firefox having been satisfied with it in past. And then there is the question of upgrading to Windows 10.
Everytime I use Google I get a recommendation to load Google Chrome. But have heard that people have experienced problems with it and that Google is notorious for tracking activity.
So right now just sitting tight. What do people think?i

My two cents (for what it's worth) . . . I access the site via a laptop running Windows 10 and opt for Firefox 99 times out of 100. Works well and I figure if it ain't broke don't fix it.

As Dave, I run windows 10 with the Firefox browser. Microsoft edge seems to not like this one bit and toss ads my way constantly. I am also beginning to wonder whether Microsoft and Norton aren't in cahoots on this system what with all the strange problems that pop up. No complaints about Firefox.
