Is there any one here who is in contact with old members of the a.s.s, newsgroup? If you were, you will remember Hal, the poet, who was very active there until an incident (being outed) required him to drop out for his own safety.

Now, after a fall, I am essentially housebound. And pretty old anyway, so no more actual spankings. But if any friends out there happen to notice this, would you say hello? I also have a secret email address.

I also just noticed that one of my verses (maybe more) has been used on Handprints, with very nice illustration. I'd like to see if there are more, but it's a huge site to search, and I am not sure how to contact them.

Thanks. Looks a.s.s is moribund even though some old material survives. Is this because there is less shame about our peculiarities now and people can be more open, with sites like Spanking Tube easily available, and many spanking blogs easy to find as well? If so, great! But I miss old friends whose names hid their real identities and thus cannot be found today. We were sort of pioneers in writing spanking materials a decade ago, and I doubt we will be remembered when such writing is more common place.

It seems like spanking forums and message boards have largely become a thing of the past. I have mentioned in other posts favorites of mine that are vanished or been inactive for years.
Spank.net, formerly SIN is still around but no forum,old material archived. Don't know what the status of their Chat is, used to visit a lot. Now all you get when you log in there are strident postings about becoming a paid member, which is ok if you are in to videos, not so much if you only want to read stories or participate in discussion forums.
There is ipunishment, but don't really care for their Facebook like format. Most of the postings are of photos very little discussion, few stories.

I do remember you, Redskinluver. your observations are interesting; I suspect that the availability of images and videos has made obsolete the searches we all made for anything at all to validate our secret fantasizing. We wrote stuff to please ourselves when such material was hard to find,

Ah, JS. I wonder how many folks can interpret that acronym. At any rate, I'm sorry to hear of your fall and the restrictive consequences. Had a few falls myself, seems octogenarians can easily do that. I wonder whether the worry over that "outing" business still is a concern? Back in the day that "outing" episode was really big news on our particular newsgroups. It was nice finding you were here at LSF and have been, through my own recent inquiry about S.S.S./A.S.S. members. Obviously, your search has produced even more results. Many of us are here my old friend. Good to see.
