Startle!!

I'm rewatching the original Ghostbusters and, much to my surprise, right over the secretary's desk you'll see a B&W Spanking photo showing two female bared bums and someone is about to smack one. You see it most clearly when the secretary get's the call for the Ghostbuster's 1st job (Slimer.).

Whoa - I think you're right! I checked the imbd.com page for the movie's images, and in the one where Annie Potts stands up and yells "We got one!!" you can see an out-of-focus picture of what you describe behind her. Is the image any clearer in the film?

I also see horses (full frontal), but am willing to offer to freshly spanked horses as a compromise.

When I was told bottoms, I saw bottoms. Now I'm told horses, I see horses. Just shows how unreliable our perceptions are.

If you blow up the picture, it's quite hard to convince yourself that what you are seeing are bottoms.

Yeah, I can see a horse now instead. Damn.

That makes more sense, because the motion picture's producers wouldn't have risked a controversy over showing womanly bare bottoms, and more so spanked ones, in that background photograph within a "PG" rated film.

Plus if it had occurred, someone would have noticed and publicized that fact shortly following the movie's release. It was fun to consider momentarily, though... --C.K.
