Schools where even senior girls can be caned

Anyone interested in exchanging thoughts about scenarios in which senior girls (6th form girls in UK parlance) can be caned? I'm particularly interested in the rituals attached to a formal caning e.g. by the headmaster, not least the removal or adjustment of clothing. And what about schools where prefects could cane - not uncommon in UK public (i.e. private) schools well into the 1960s.

I've much enjoyed your fantasy school Mark. Let me ask this. Imagine yourself an avid spectator to a 6th form girl's caning. What gives best viewing experience? Girl bends and reluctantly raises skirt or girl made to take skirt off before bending? How would you optimise viewing experience?

Plenty of stories like this abound, on this site and elsewhere. Some sites where there was a strict rule about no minors in any context encouraged ridiculous stories about upper sixth form girls getting caned for the first time, amazingly just after their eighteenth birthday!

In REALITY, UK school girls rarely got caned on the bottom, and it was virtually unheard of to get caned in the sixth form, and being caned on the bottom by a male headmaster in the sixth form... well, it only happens in fantasy, where it happens all the time!

My serial, the Boundary Chronicles, are all about a wicked (Deputy) Headmaster whose guiding principle is to smack, belt, cane etc as many girls' bare bottoms as he can. Lots.

They are clearly all fantasies, in part because of the liberties that he takes with dress and positions and the severity of the punishments. Had this been reality, he would have been sent to prison years ago.

Fantasy school? My stories describe life at many typical British 1970s comprehensives before corporal punishment was abolished in 1987. And what a teacher who was a rascal could get away with. A girl raising her skirt is more realistic. But if she is wearing a tight pencil skirt and has a big bottom her skirt may have to be unzipped and lowered.

If your talking Headmaster /girl, its pure fantasy I regret but we can still suspend reality.
It also depended on the LEA (local Education Authority, (part of the County Council). policy as far as I can tell. There are reliable reports of girls being caned in the sixties and early seventies but I suspect they were uncommon, almost certainly only by women and usually on the hand and only in a few schools. In Scotland CP was more commonplace.
It was pretty commonplace in parts of the private boy's sector.
I know for a fact that in boy's schools in South Africa it lasted much later.
Even when my mother was at school in the 1930's in Scotland where the tawse or strap was more common she once told me she hated that school , boys were beaten on the bottom but even then girls only on the hand. She was very shocked when I told her that our new headmaster had abolished the practice of prefects plimsolling junior boys. She said that she had assumed when they signed the CP waiver it would only be masters and she would never have signed it if she had known that boys were allowed to beat youn ger boys.
