Are there any other sites that accept stories? My grammer and writing is good enough for LSF?

Just had my first try shot down here. I did my best but my grammar isn't strong enough for LSF.

I am some what dependent on grammar check and write the way it comes through my head. But if i have no place to go there no use in writing more, so does anyone know of someplace else ?

You're probably fine for the LSF. Plenty of stories on here have mechanics that are far from "perfect" and could definitely use work, so I don't recommend allowing this concern to be a hindrance to posting your work.

What grammar-checker do you use? I generally use a combination of Google autocorrect and Grammarly (I have yet to post here, but I have done a decent amount of writing). Using those in tandem with some research on areas you're confused about should help drastically. I could also offer some tips just given your above post.

I know it's not easy, but try to find a proofreader. It really helps if someone else can have a look at the story with other eyes. It is so easy to get blind in front of your own story, not seeing the flaws because you see the story in your mind and then it's easy to miss even obvious flaws. Best I presume is if you know someone, but many (including me) has sent out a cry for help in this forum and found help to read through and comment on my stories. If you want to try elsewhere, there is always open places like for example Lush Stories, Sexstories and Literotica, but they don't offer any copyright protection preventing download and they are not focused on any specific theme.

Good luck and don't give up,
Gloup

I’d suggest to keep trying. Without any knowledge of what you wrote or submitted maybe try writing shorter works to begin and as your grammar improves lengthen them out. Also read lots and see what other authors do to help your own.

Writing is an art, and something you have to work at to get better. Don't give up. Poorly written stories are unlikely to be appreciated much by readers no matter where you might post them, so you DO want to get better.

Is there a way to sort of scrap all I have sent in. I sent about 6 or so parts to my story. I am going to try and use grammerly , I am renaming it and reordering some sections creating a prologue of sorts that can provide needed info that will allow other parts to be shorter.

I have ran the first 2 parts through the free part of grammerly and it has helped it caught some things and i have tried to proof read as best i can.
I am going to wait a week or two and slow down, doing a short story i don't know, it would still be set in the world of this story series.

Hi Frost
Feel free to reply to my email instead of posting on the forum. It would also be beneficial to consider my suggestion of trying to master the basics by starting off writing a short story... followed through by several others, just simple things to give you the opportunity to practice with sentence structure, punctuation and dialogue etc. When your competency improves and you have gained confidence, you could then embark on something more challenging.
Even long-established authors publishing professionally may agree that writing is a hard-earned craft and can't be learned overnight. So start off simple and take it from there is my advice... Good luck.

Hi Frost,
I do not yet know whether my first submission here will be accepted, but have found the guidance on this site and Flopsy's initial comment very helpful. I only started writing spanking fiction in lockdown last year and first submitted to overthedesk the other site whose stories I read regularly.

OTD's readership does not apparently like husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend scenarios which are unlikely to be accepted but if your stories are school or employment based or involve judicial CP and are a realistic then I have found Kenny very supportive. About half of my submissions have been accepted there, although on occasion I have been asked to make changes. The author's guidance on the site is also helpful.
Above all do not give up. I write primarily for my own enjoyment and am not looking to write professionally but like to give something back to the sites that have given me pleasure.

If you feel that your grammar is an issue, why not consider doing kinky rap songs about spanking instead of stories? Then, even if you make errors, they can be a plus rather than a detriment. Just a thought.

I highly suggest Literotica, as it is far easier to get your work posted there, despite minor grammar issues. She also allows for story edits which I was told is not allowed here. She (the only reviewer on the site) is also far more allowable for creative expression, but there are drawbacks. THAT site has far greater genres, and therefore story tags, and therefore your story might easy slip between the cracks (in other words; never see the light of day for intended readers). Her grammer peccadilloes are for no "wall of text" (I forget what it's called, but it's not putting space between paragraphs), and putting more than one speaker in a given paragraph. I might be simplying her denial process. Aha, one other stop sign there is no dark endings. Crimes have to be balanced out. Just understand that some sites peccadilloes are based on where a website is based and that countries legalities.

Literotica also has an army of proofreaders, beta readers, etc who offer to proof your story for free, but that doesn't mean anything. I had one story that was proofread by three such individuals there prior to submission here, and although the denial errors were consistent here, it was too tiresome to proofread myself and so gave up submitting here. If they allowed editing stories after posting it, they probably would be easier on denials. So it all makes sense why they deny more here.

Also, while children are allowed to be mentioned in stories there, they can't be the focus of a spanking for instance, especially bare bottomed discipline.

There are handfuls of other sites that I could name, but they have far less readers viewing them and to me the point of posting your story is to get the most of the right kind of readership, right? One website that has a superior search engine but has almost all of their stories with a dark ending for the submissive/spankee/bottom. Spankees/submissives are shite and deserve nothing. It's all pro-top and con-bottom. Reading stories there is highly depressing for me (I'm not even going into deep-web kinda stuff).

I suppose what I'm trying to say is each site has it's ups and downs. Some, like this website, has more focused topics (like spanking as a primary activity in a story (yay!)).

Pick the website you feel best suits you, then post there and accept that you'll have to appease that sites' attitudes.
