Spanking in Movies, TV, and Books

So, I think I've talked about this before, but it's been so many years since I was last active on the site that I thought I'd toss it out again to see what others have seen that I've missed. I live for spankings in TV shows, movies, and books. In the years before the internet (yes, there really was a time that we didn't have google), that was my only source for spanking fun. I didn't have the money (or the guts) to just up and order a spanking VHS (if you don't know what it is, you're probably too young to spank me or get spanked by me) from a catalog (something else gone by the wayside). Of course, there was always late night Skinamax that yielded a few lovely gems like Softly From Paris: The Spanking (I think I must have watched that 50 or more times). But I always had a delight when I would read about a spanking in a book (no 50 Shades of Grey yet) or catch either a full spanking or a one-smacker on a movie or tv show. The more the years passed by, the less and less spanking was tolerated being on the screen, but you'd still get one occasionally.

The movie, Kisses For My President, has a great implied spanking scene that I just love to watch. If you're looking for a little more modern TV, The West Wing has a great hard one-smacker in one of the episodes (Season 4, Episode 6) wherein the President (of the US, if you're unfamiliar with the show) gives his wife a good hard spank after she cuts off his tie to motivate him before he has to debate his opponent. Telenovelas seem to include a spanking quite often. And, of course, there's always the shows and movies from the 50's and 60's. Oh, did I ever so much want to go over the lap of Jane Jetson herself, Penny Singleton, after watching (well, really just hearing) her give a spanking to a bratty girl in Blondie Hits the Jackpot.

Of books, I think I've mentioned before The Wheel of Time series. It's rife with spanking references (and not accidental). I often wondered who was going over who's lap in that marriage--Robert Jordan or his wife, Harriet). I've heard from someone who knew them (how well, I do not know) that if anyone was being spanked, it was Robert, but I have yet to confirm that with anyone who was actually close to the couple.

I think we're probably about the same age judging from your comments. I remember in the 80s and 90s there were quite a few actual paperback books sold in mainstream book stores that dealt with adult spanking. I'm sure they'd be classified as adult erotica and the author was usually just listed as anonymous. They were very well written though.

I somewhat recently discovered the works of Christopher Nuttall and several of his books have spanking scenes or references. His Schooled in Magic series for example has around half a dozen spanking scenes across 24+ books and many more references (for example in a later book a daughter is told to go to her room by her mother and said mother is later seen leaving said room with a brush in hand), although things do get tamer on that end as the books go along and especially after the protagonist is no longer attending school herself. That said I've read a few of the authors other works and such things seem to pop up sporadically. I'm maybe half way into the Zero Enigma series and haven't seen a spanked bottom yet, however I read just the first book in the Empire's Corp series and it had not just one of the more detailed spanking scenes but story around that spanking could almost be removed from the rest of the book as it's own mini spanking story you might see around here. lol

I still haven't gone through all his books yet, and I probably won't, but it seems like the spanking scenes/references have gotten fewer and generally a bit watered down over the years so it's possible someone advised him to go a bit lighter on those but I don't know. Either way while I generally recommend his work I do so more for those looking for fun short reads that might have a little tease/flavor rather then someone looking for straight spanking erotica.

Just going by the highly matriarchal societies that Jordan created in WoT I’d say that his wife Harriet was the top in that relationship.
There was a series of light erotica books in the 80’s about the sexual adventures of a young woman called Christina, that were usually good for a spanking or two. The covers featured a gorgeous blonde. Never been able to verify this, but I think she was a Playboy centrefold by the name of Jill DeVries.
Wilbur Smith had spanking, either mentioned or described, in a few of his books. Smith was by all accounts very much an alpha male, as were most of his male heroes, so it was nearly always M/F.

There were so many movies or TV shows with a spanking in it that I fondly remember. Porn aside, I think Samantha's sister in Bewitched got a spank. Likewise, in I Dream of Jeannie, her sister/cousin played by herself (same as Bewitched) got a spank.
In Gidģet, Sally Field went OTK between her sister (?) and sister's boyfriend (?) at the same time, and seemed to get some real, long overdue spanks, and meanwhile have a lopsided grin, as if saying "here we go again!" The scene is shot looking at her face, and while her expression doesn't wince or waver, I'd swear the angle showed her in fact getting her buns really smacked.

In a book I read in the mid/late 80's, from an unknown author, and while it should qualify as porn, I don't consider written porn to be "porn," it was a story that included a spanking. Basically, it was about a young woman who had daddy issues, and decides to become a stripper/specialty act while looking for her long lost father.
Two scenes in the story that stood out to me, was where she goes down into the audience, and up to a middle aged guy. Upends his beer, turns around, bends over then asks him to push the beer bottle up her arse, open end first. With one arm around her hips and his other palm on the bottle bottom, he pushes it almost all the way, she takes over and pushes it in until the beer bottle bottom looks like a glassy eye. Goes back up on stage, and finished her dance routine, with several times where she bends over so the audience can see it's still up her arse.

The other scene is where she talks in a "widdle girl voice" saying she is looking all over the place for her daddy. Picks out a middle aged guy in the audience, says "there he is!" after putting his head between her breasts and shaking them, confesses she's been a bad girl, gets over his knee and asks him to spank her. When he doesn't pony up and give it to her hard enough, she offers her wrist to be pinned to her lower back, looks over her shoulder and whispers "you can do better than that" to him, and is rewarded with a more energetic, proper bun roasting. After which she gets up and fake cries "wah, you spanked Daddy's Little Girl!" (her stage name). Goes back up on stage, and finìshes her dance set.

The important idea that she only goes up to patrons she imagines could look like, and be about the age of her real dad. Like I said, daddy issues.

I don’t remember Sam or Serena (Sam’s wicked brunette cousin, also played by Elizabeth Montgomery) ever being smacked, although Darren did once suggest spanking their daughter Tabitha. Likewise I also don’t remember anyone spanking either Jeannie or her fraternal brunette twin Jeannie II, but Tony did once threaten to turn Jeannie over his knee. The Gidget spanking is one of my favourites.

If I recall correctly, Samantha got her butt smacked towards the end of the episode. Serena had been doubling as her sister for some nefarious reason, then left when Samantha gotthe upper hand. Dick York flawlessly played the comedic timing of transitioning from preening that he wasn't going to be fooled by Serena anymore, to embarrassment of giving a smack to his wife Samantha instead.
I don't reçall thè scene with Jeannie and her twin. I just remember it was Tony who didn't fall for the switch this time.

Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty series was the first popular mainstream S&M literature I ever read. I still think the first spanking in that first book is great.

I forgot all about that West Wing one-slapper, but it was fantastic as far as one-smacks go.

Even before 50 shades, spanking started to make a comeback on screen, especially for adult spankings. Too many to name, but the two standouts are from Community(look up "Britta's butt whooping" on YouTube) and the Big Bang Theory. Fairly recently, Sofia Vergara got spanked on Modern Family. mainstreamspanking.wordpress.com does a GREAT job finding spankings in mainstream material.

There really are too many to name. That Netflix show about the cam girl had some spanking in it. Daddy Issues has a pretty silly OTK spanking scene but the actress is extremely attractive imo. Very recently, the new "I Know What You Did Last Summer" series uses a spanking motif in a sex montage. A big female butt fills the screen and an unseen hand smacks it over and over again.
