Pan am

Apologies if this has been mentioned before. Been watching a show called Pan am. It’s about the airline, set in 1963. I’m about 5 episodes in and there have been 2 spanking references, both made by the same character: a co pilot. In one he tries to placate a passenger offended by one of the stewardesses by offering to put her over his knee, and in another a stewardess is upset by the behaviour of another stewardess, her you get sister and he says ‘If she needs a spanking, I’m your guy.’

Haven't heard of it. But if things progress to an actual spanking, please let us know.

I remember it. I think it only went one season and I only saw a few episodes. I believe there is a scene where one of the stewardesses gets a slap on the bottom from their older, female supervisor who sort of functioned like a dorm mother.

I recall that years ago a passenger got himself into big trouble when he smacked a Qantas stewardess on the bottom as she passed by. I remember it because the guy's name believe it or not was Aubrey Bumguard.

The show did only go one season. Period pieces are expensive to make. The scene that Chard mentioned is in the first episode and it’s the stewardesses supervisor checking to see if the girl is wearing a girdle, which all of them are required to do. I doubt it’s true, but they are treated like school girls and threatened with demerits and groundings/suspensions if they earn too many demerits for minor infractions of the airlines strict code.

Yes unfortunately it wasn't all that popular and unfortunately only was cancelled after the first season. It had a lot of promotion in the UK and was promoted as a new Mad Men. I liked it though with all the stewardesses in their tight skirts. This was about 6 or 7 years ago. Where are you watching it.

I also would love a return to short skirts with matching panties which were meant to be seen like tennis panties. That's what the stewardesses wore in the sixties and seventies.

Imagine if the captain showed up at the 'Stew Den' and caught the ladies in the act of using the airline china, silver place setting and crystal glasses. I bet that would fun for the captain and not for the larcenous butts.
