Memorable Lines in Spanking Fiction

Is there a particular line in a work of spanking fiction that got your attention, and brings you back to the story to read it again?

In my case the line consists of seven short words that form a question: "Would you like to see her caned?"

(Since I'm not sure of the convention here on spoiler alerts, I won't for now go in to further detail, but will gladly do so if that's permitted.)

In one of Kephren's stories, the phrase "I am waiting to be caned" is repeated at uneven intervals with an almost hypnotic effect. The title of the story? "I am waiting to be caned".

I also recall "It's an aberration sir, it won't happen again" from Susan Thomas' outstanding story "Eighteen".

"Reality yielded with scant grace allowing the Magi into a desolate plain of coarse black sand under a bloated red sun"
This is the opening line of The Contest by John Benson. Its both enigmatic and precisely descriptive with the red sun being an obvious foreshadowing of a well spanked bottom, at least, that's what you are led to think.

"You are about to learn that a session with my strap does wonders for the memory."
A line from The Daughter-in-Law.

My submission for a memorable line comes from flopsybunny's "Fire Behind":

"The air in the lair of Miss Greyling was thick with tears and snot and yelps and cries..."

Few words, but powerful imaging.

One of my favourites was in a Bared Affair article talking about an onscreen mother daughter relationship and the actress playing the mother of two teen daughters says of her onscreen daughters that when the horseplay goes too far ‘it’s pants down and over the knee for a good hot bottom’.

In many stories by various authors:

"It's meant to hurt."

(In response a spankee's complaint about the pain)

My single favorite line in all of spanking fiction comes from Watcher. It's the last line in this passage, but also the entire context of the line. This sets up a role reversal spanking. If you're into F/F and haven't read "Over for Summer" from Watcher, read it for the rest, but I thought this was just perfect.

"You still have apologies to your cousin. She is a Prefect at her school and well used to discipline naughty girls. I don't think you'll consider yourself hard done by if she gives you a quick spanking?"

One memorable line from a movie (Debbie Does Dallas (DDD) - 1976) that just clicked with me was when Jake Teague says to Merle Michaels,

"What you need, young lady, is a good spanking! And I'm just the one to give it to you!"

Now, coincidentally, while not exactly fictional, there was a video review made in Hustler magazine (1977) that described that exact scene, and, for me, was memorable,

"The librarian (played by Jake Teague) gives an energetic spanking to Donna's (Merle Michaels) finely tuned ass.

To me, while rather cliche', it just went so well together that it clicked.

I think that might have been one of main stream porns first spanking scene that crossed over. In fact, besides the occasional slap during sex, I think mainstream porn hasn't had a "story line" where an incidental spanking scene in a movie. In most porno movies, either the movie (if you can call them that) are devoutely all about spankings ("gonzo"). There might be a porno movie that had a spanking scene in it, but usually it's lackluster because the actor is more interested in the sex afterwards, as he doesn't want to piss off the actress by spanking her too hard, or too long.

In written fiction, in my opinion, writers rarely look to use one liners. They try to make memorable scenes instead (and there's nothing wrong with that). I can mention one scene by I think it was in Glagla's Princess Honeyhair where it was foreshadowed and built up to a first time spanking scene very nicely. The scene just clicked. Or several scenes in Susan Thomas' stories, like in her Butterfly McKindrick (spelling?) story.

In a couple of my own stories, which are not posted anywhere (so I'm not plugging them but giving myself a pat on the back by mentioning them), I've sought to use one liners, if only sometimes as an 'ommage to DDD. Cliche phrases rock, if not over-used within a story and are built up to be the iconic one-liner.

They are all mine, I'm afraid:

Some might find the consequential prolongation of the period during which the girl has to present her bare bottom for punishment, a distinct benefit.

We have both been trying to make me a “better girl” for as long as I can remember. It doesn’t seem to be working.

What’s the point of having a teenage daughter if you don’t get to smack her bottom occasionally?
