In the film "A Tiger's Tale" a naughty young lady's absence is explained because "She is recovering from a bout with the hairbrush!" What a great scene that would have made!

And it was uttered by Ann-Margret who had that spanking mother look about her.

That film was from 1987, well after spankings had stopped being shown on-screen.
Incidentally, there is a photo of Ann-Margret getting what the caption called "a friendly spanking" from her uncle that originally appeared in Life Magazine in 1959 . There are also articles on various spanking sites that claimed he spanked her in real life as discipline.

I don't think anyone didn't notice how much of a willful brat Allison Scagliotti was on Warehouse 13. While her character was supposed to be 16 or 17, she started on the show, freshly 18 years of age. Most adult humor on the show was hinted at and left to Joanne Kelly's character.

One hinted at action being where Joanne and Eddie McClintock were coming back from a zoo which had a monkey cage, and Saul Rubinek tried to be helpful and said to Joanne, "you have some phlegm in your hair" and she agonized, responding with "it's not phlegm, it's..." and she made a face, leaving you to fill in what you thought it was. In fact, one scene early in the show had Eddie saying he was going to pump another agent for information and suggested he and her were going to get it on, by saying to Joanne Kelly, that he was going to go spank the other agent, to wit, Joanne Kelly grinned and smacked one hand into the other, seemingly like she would enjoy watching that.

But back to Allison. Saul Rubinek was said to be the "father" (or grandfather to Allison) of this "family" and if it wasn't the constant jibes she made at Saul about his weight, and refer to him getting stuck in a whole like Poohbear, almost egging him on to give her character a little hand to butt action. Then there was that time where she lied to Saul and his stage father (played by Judd Hirsch), saying to each that the other was dying, to get the two to meet. Cue close up of Saul and Judd turned slightly, looking over their shoulders at Allison who was caught in her lies and bending over the back of the sofa between the two angry men who were sitting on it.
But no.The scene that most contributed to what should have been a spanking scene for Allison and hinted at such action, was an episode where Allison wanted to bring agent Jinx back from the dead, and Allison dressed up as a sexy nurse (nurses don't wear short light blue skirts but scrubs (pant suits)) so the allusion was already sexy and leg showing, and Allison is about to shoot a guard to get into a secure facility, when Saul magically appears grabs Allison by the wrist, saying sternly, "Enough!" then tows her off screen, with Allison giving little girl "ow, ouch, okay, enough, please" or some such like she was already getting a spanking.

That her character didn't age quickly, but remained around 17, despite four seasons passing by, meant nothing. They wanted her to perpetually be a bratty 17 year old, who got into trouble and lied profusely to get her way. The most adult in humor they let her charcter get was in one episode where she had to save the warehouse and had to shoot a rocket launcher straight up, causing her to get doused in warehouse slime, and she quipped with glee "I'm ready for my silkwood shower" (which Hollywood erringly described as sexual, forced and highly invasive (as in every nook and cranny) of which it is factually not). However, Allison's character in that episode and one or two episodes leading up to it, was getting her butt repeatedly zapped by the warehouse, causing her to respond with surprised shock, embarrassment, then pained acceptance that she's been bad and this was the warehouse's way of punishing her, justly.

Lot's of spanking hinting, and suggestion, where an in-scene spanking would have been shorter, more enjoyable (for viewers) and I think Ms. Scagliotti might have been down with it happening on film, to get it over and done with, instead of all the tension and hinting for several episodes.

So many sitcoms of years past (60s-70s)would have been spiced up by some episodes with spankings. Maude comes to mind and remember Hazel? That one was early 60s when TV spankings had not yet disappeared.
And was just thinking that Golden Girls would have been perfect for some F/F spankings. "Golden Girls, Red Bottoms- what a delightful thought! Think of "sitcoms" where the star characters sometimes having difficulty sitting lol!
And sure there are others that could be added. Imagine Laverne and Shirley getting in a quarrel, then each coming to realize she bears part of the blame for jeopardizing their friendship, and they end up by giving each other spankings. Perhaps hairbrush on panties, think TV in that time period would have permitted that. Or could have it take place at a pool or beach over their swimsuits, perhaps somewhat revealing, daring ones each has talked the other into wearing.

In the "critically acclaimed " Elektra Luxx, the sibling bickering between Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character and his younger sister had a lot of potential, especially when she hacked into his account to help him gain web-traffic:
-"... I was doing you a favour!"
-"A favour!? And how is MY little sister getting half-naked, and posting pictures on MY website, doing me a favour?"
Yeah, if no spanking ensues after that, then I don't think it will ever happen!

On "That 70's Show" Laura Prepon says about her first day being in a catholic all-girls high school, "Grim. This nun totally spanked me with a ruler." In a very internet way; either show pictures, or it didn't happen!"

On Supernatural, in an episode with Alona Tal, she and Jensen Ackles are supposedly portraying husband and wife, although they act more like older brother and younger sister in this one scene, and are apartment hunting (no pun intended), and while the realtor is looking away, trade physical, off camera, jibes. One of which seems to be his possibly giving her a smack to the butt for her Nancy Drew-esque actions. Having seen Alona on a Craig Ferguson episode in a very fetching red dress, I can atest she has quite the bootay, it would have been nice to see Alona bent over Dean's knee for some big brother spankings.

In an aside, in the afore mentioned Craig Ferguson episode, Alona mentions "I worked my ass off" which prompted Craig to say, "work off any other part of your body, except that one." Maybe Craig should have taken her over his knee and shown her his appreciation by giving her a repeated one handed salute

Not a film but the US drama series Legacies. If anyone ever deserved a spanking it’s the three main female characters, Hope Mickaelson and the Saltzman twins.

Okay, I'll another one.
Shazam!

All the kids in that group home could have deserved one or more. Playing video games late ("When did it get dark?"), a screw you attitude, the superhero fan pranking the new guy, the annoying little girl, the new guy who stole and ran away, the housemother that put positive thinking above discipline, those bullies who beat up younger kids, those kids playing hooky and going to strip clubs, the teen mother for what she did, and so on.

Yes, I cited a few of them more than once.

While watching one of the first season episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Buffy, Xander and Willow are overheard by their stern principal making fun of authority and the the talent show. Then they turn on the auditorium's ramp and are stunned by his sudden pressence. He volunteers them to be in the talent show that Giles, the librarian is undertaking for the school. It's called "The Puppet Show" and they are terrified and wide-eyed about being in the show.

"What happened to corporal punishment," Xander quips. Buffy twitches her face cheeks like she would consider it as an alternative to their having to be in the talent show and embarassing themselves. The paddling Buffy and the Scoobie Gang would have been a great addition to the episode.
