The Office (American) and spanking

It's the pandemic so I've been watching The Office and seeing characters by the light of a crimson moon I know Michael spanked his nephew in public but in the Take Your Kid To Work episode Angela says that she would never act up in front of her father as he was a strict disciplinarian. Definitely she has been on the receiving end. Maybe not often but a hard OTK and either a hairbrush or a belt. And Dwight recognizes it and of course he would be up to the challenge. Then again, so would Angela if Dwight stepped out of line. Thoughts?

Michael spanking his nephew (played by Evan Peters, who later got caned in American Horror Story: Asylum) was one of my most memorable startles. I was 10 years old and was not expecting it - I remember being absolutely frozen in place as I watched it. It appeared on YouTube very soon afterwards and I rewatched it VERY frequently.
