According to 'Au fil des jours' the 8th August "88" is World Spanking Day. Judge for yourself.

That's funny - the BBC News channel didn't mention it!

I was wondering what the significance of "88" was. It made me think that if we wanted a secret symbol to identify ourselves (eg on lapel badges or car bumpers) we could use an "8" on its side like this:



(It's the symbol used for "infinity" in maths).

I was thinking it had something to do with bingo - 88 two fat ladies- although I couldn't see any connection.

A secret symbol would be very useful.

I knew that today was world vore day (obviously - eight eight, ate ate), I'd never heard it was world spanking day!

We might want to pick a different one in that case. 88 has already been claimed, and not by people I'd like to be associated with.

The suggestion was to use the infinity sign which resembles a bottom in a more familiar orientation.
