Recalling the pain

Even though the pain of sound paddling or caning is intense and unbearable from the moment of the strike to when the burning starts to dissipate, I find it impossible to recall that sensation exactly once the punishment is over. Yet the thought of the pain of a tooth being drilled always makes me wince.

Why do I often desire the pain of a spanking and yet despise the dentist hitting a nerve with the drill? Both of which are extremely unpleasant at the time.

Who knows? We're all different, but you definitely need a new dentist.

You are correct Often123, for some reason the brain processes the pain from a spanking in a different way to other physical pain. I have heard it said that the buttock nerves are more interconnected with the nerves controlling the erotic systems of the body, hence they get processed in both a positive and negative way.

Just at add a different perspective, I rarely find the pain of a spanking unbearable. Well, maybe right at the beginning but my body soon adjusts and the reason I do it is because it is intensely pleasurable - both thinking about it, during it and in the afterglow and beyond. I have a very high pain threshold when it comes to spanking and that helps.

When I registered at my current dentist, I was able to indicate that I am a nervous patient. My first dentist kept putting her hand on my shoulder and saying things like "you are being such a good boy". For a brief moment dentistry and spanking coalesced very pleasantly in my mind.

I've found that the pain really does relate to who is spanking me.
