See Through Leggings in Britain?

Saw on the Whaletail Forum site a post that said see through leggings on girls in Britain had become very commonplace and generally accepted. Someone who said he visited there for several weeks last year said he saw them all over the place, and that they were worn with thongs, usually black ones.
Interesting. Wonder though if they are totally approved. Certainly seem like a bright idea for a spanking story. Break out the canes and slippers! Picture a girl having to walk around with cane stripes under her see through leggings!
Perhaps there are some stories here featuring see through clothes. Come to think of it, there is my story Melanie White Pants Red Bottom, and one of my Letters where a woman is spanked by her husband for going outside wearing nothing but sheer pantyhose.
Hope some of our British members weigh in on whether or not there is any truth to this story.Some wild stuff gets posted at that site.Not to mention some fantastic pictures of bottoms, in everything or nothing!

I'm not sure that's true. Leggings are often quite thin and the material, when stretched, goes a bit translucent so you can usually see what colour knickers are on underneath. I haven't seen any that are completely see through. I do remark to my offspring that in the 90s when I last wore leggings, they were always worn with a long t-shirt to cover the bottom, and I don't entirely approve of the youths now wearing them with cropped t-shirts.

Translucent or see-through, either sounds like a splendid fashion to me. Together with yoga pants, the bottom is finally getting the exposure that it so richly deserves. The crop top seems like the icing on the cake, perfecting the picture.

I have seen a couple. A woman bent over in front of me in local Tesco to reach bottom shelf and her gym leggings stretched to translucency clearly showing her thong.
One cyclist also stopped in front of me at a traffic lights and again her splendid bottom and thong were clearly visible-transfixing!
Unfortunately all too rare but more common and extremely annoying is the practise of some shapely runners to tie a top round their waist and cover their bums.

Whilst tight leggings on trim young ladies are lovely to see, nothing beats a floaty mini skirt lifting in the breeze.

I remember when I first saw a girl in leggings. On Guildford High Street, in the early 80s. My immediate reaction was that they were black tights and she had forgotten to put her skirt on.

I was transfixed and followed her for about 100yds in admiration.

Have to say I haven't seen any transparent ones and agree with KatiePie that the closest they get is to show knickers, their colour and cut, through the material. I sometimes wonder if the wearers appreciate what they are showing at back.

They don't really need to be transparent as they fit so snuggly that it is a bit like looking at a naked black bottom.

I also remember the fashion for low cut trousers with the "T" of a thong visible above them, sometimes bejewelled. Horrible.

Ah, the mini skirt, the quintessential feminine fashion statement of the 1960s, whether on tie-dyed flower child "hippie chicks", college co-eds, and plain average everyday girls who worked as waitresses or something.
While spandex tights on runners are sexy, especially if they are supertight, panties clearly outlined, and so on, even better are those loose-fitting and very short shorts that can expose a bit of bare cheek when the woman lifts her feet running. And sometimes are so brief bare bottom skin is showing even when they are standing still.

See through leggings as such not generally commonplace, however many leggings leave little to the imagination molding every curve of the young ladys body.

Such fabric that stretches becomes a little see through be that through wearers choice or accident, then if you add to that certain observers imagination and/or intensity of stare, then what is beneath the fabric might well reveal itself.

After this Covid 19 lockdown is over, i am sure there will be plenty of opportunity for certain folk to do the necessary rigorous research of the subject, all in the name of social science of course.

There will always be the battle over what we like to see and what is appropriate to see. After covid-19, I get a little happiness just seeing a woman, other than my most beautiful wife, at all! Masked, gloved, wrapped up in a winter coat so she looks like a well wrapped balloon, she's still a gift from the one above to me!

The makers of leggings and yoga pants should win a nobel peace prize. The women who chose to wear them in public, but chose to test the fabric's ability to contain the expanding human girth, well, someone has to make sure they don't fail in public. Don't they?

I still can't tell leggings from yoga pants from dark pantyhose? What are the ones that have such crazy lines at the calves and such that it makes it look like the body is going ten different directions?
