There are clearly a lot of political zealots working at Disney these days, and many of their traditional customers are complaining about it. However what makes it worse is that the decision making is clearly in the hands of lawyers and accountants and therefore any new product must be low risk and cause as little offence to anyone as possible, for a global audience. In other words BLAND.

Most people prefer their accountants, airline pilots and doctors to be safe and steady. But when it comes to entertainment, you need the risk-taking headbangers, or you get 'bland'.

I would not want someone like the late Marty Feldman flying the 747 I am in or taking my appendix out.

With advances in genetic engineering, sooner or later, someone will devise a technique to have babies born wearing 'clothing' of some type. Perhaps a 'pseudo plastic' raincoat.
