Excellent Service

I always like to give a shout out to good service and in this case it is a company in Holland called 'MINCE.nl'.

I have bought very little on-line in the way of spanking stuff, as I prefer to either make something myself or find items at brocantes and car-boot sales.

However I ordered something from MINCE.nl recently and their service was excellent, I thought their prices were good as well.

Vive good service.

The French don't have a an expression for 'good service', no more than the Brits have an expression for 'bon appétit'.

It is very rare to get good customer service in France, and it doesn't exist at all in Paris.

Indeed, though I commend the manager of the small hotel I stayed in years ago who opened a bottle of wine for me and a friend.

He's probably right - there again he's probably never been outside a Yates's Wine lodge when they're emerging from a Saturday night on Aussie white wine blobs!
