I don't know if many members here are young enough to enjoy Rammstein, but if so, the lead singer, Lindemann is currently on his European tour with his own band. Incidentally, it consists of just one Swede doing all the music, why this constellation is especially close to my heart. So why bother mentioning it here? Well, the band is exceptionally good at dishing out videos so completely misogynistic that a few of them only appear on porn pay sites, but at the Stockholm concert last week, I think they outdid themselves. The song "Platz Eins" was introduced with a three minute long video on a gigantic screen showing Lindemann with a stark naked heavily tattooed lady across his lap. She's reading from a book and apparently she'd not very good at German, because she stumbles over the words and every time she does, he smacks her really hard on her bare butt. Quite a thing to show to a several thousand headed audience I think, but if you go to anything Rammstein related, you should know what you're getting yourself into. Look for "Lindemann - Platz Eins (Stockholm, Annexet, 2020)" on YouTube if you're interested. The hand-held camera shot isn't that great and the recording quality of the music number that follows is ridiculously poor, but I quite liked the public spanking scene. It's a total Euro-disco metalesque nightmare, the selection of show dresses fitting right in with the upcoming Eurovision song contest.

Can't say I appreciated the music (apart from the harpsichord in the background of the spanking scene), but the spanking scene itself was good fun.

Hmmm, somehow I was living in the delusion that the forum would explode with this thread. Here we have 4000 people going to a concert open to the public and what you suddenly find yourself before is a screen the size of Nebraska showing a real naked full-frontal spanking video, not a mock movie one, and it's long. Was that not more than a yawn to most people here? I have not heard of anything even close to this happening before, but maybe it's only me who's inexperienced?
