Back in the era of the pulp magazines of the early last century, one popular theme was the lost civilization story, and also the " boy from civilization growing up in the wilderness" plot, like Tarzan or Mowgli.
One lesser known work in this genre were the Kioga or Snow Hawk stories of one William L. Chester. They were set in an unknown land called Nato'Wa behind the Arctic Circle, heated by underground springs, and inhabited by people who were the ancestors of the American Indian.
Kioga is a white boy who gets stranded there, his parents dead, and raised by the natives and his animal friends, mainly bears instead of Tarzan's apes.
The story here is one where he is 15, and hanging out with his bear friend. The bear flips a huge salmon out of the water and it goes flying toward Kioga who does not get out of the way in time and "the writhing fish got in one flat resounding blow, delivered stingingly. The outline of a salmon's tail glowed redly on a brown bare hip." He is of course wearing what is always referred to as a breechclout or loincloth in these 'jungle adventure" stories which leaves a lot of bottom bare.
It goes on to read, "Much hurt and out of dignity,-of which the middle teen may have great store," and "Standing, -by oainful preference,- he meditated on the perils of his wilderness."
This really depicts how a 15 year old boy would react when he got his butt smacked, though not in what we usually think of as a spanking, not involving human action. The old adage about a spanking leaving a kid his age " more embarrassed than hurt" holds true in this case.
Jungle adventure comics, movies, etc featuring "jungle boys" used to be fairly popular though don't recall any where there was spanking. Come to think of it the character Boy, played by Johnny Sheffield in the early Tarzan movies sometimes seemed to have earned a spanking for some of his escapades, usually involving disobeying his parents. His bare cheeks would have made a fine target for Jane's hairbrush!
Closer to the present, how about Christopher Atkins in Blue Lagoon? Know people would more likely think of Jody Foster but the thong style costume he wore on that tropical island would have been just the thing for a painful paddle encounter.
For those who might be interested in the Chester story, it appears in a collection called One Against A Wilderness. While published in paperback in the 70s, it and other Kioga books are available from many online used book outlets. The original stories appeared in something called Blue Book Magazine in the mid 1930s.

Interesting information! However, when I first saw the title for this thread I just thought someone wrote a fan-fiction sequel to "The Shape of Water"

I got spanked by a fish one time. I entered the emergency room of the local hospital with an interesting tail.
