That's already happened in a fashion. Instead of suing Ms. Loughlin and Mr. Gianulli, they've sued the university.
In turn, the university appears to be suing the pair.
And the first sentence in the case was handed down today, for a sailing coach at Sanford. 6 months on an ankle monitor (house arrest) and 2 years probation. Of those who accepted bribes, his was an unusual case. He didn't pocket any bribe money, but passed it all along to the school's sailing program.
