Actually, if you are looking for good kink illustrators you can find them at deviantart.com. One of my favorites is Anka SP, sometimes listed as Spanka.

Anka SP, a.k.a. Spanka - canĀ“t by any chance be related to that outrageously badly behaved girl who was a star on Hollywood Wives?

If you want people's time and skill, you should pay for it. Spanking commissions and illustrations do pretty well (I'm a dummy for not doing them myself) and someone would be a sucker to draw something for you for free rather than just drawing for themselves and starting up a Patreon.

I wasn't suggesting that anyone should draw for free, except to demonstrate that they could take a story and illustrate one of the scenes (one drawing) to demonstrate their skill at interpretation as well as drawing.

If they didn't want to do that I would also look at existing drawings to consider suitability and if suitable then discuss commercial co-operation.

Geoffrey.

Hi Geoffrey.

Suggest it might be a good idea to provide a brief description of the type of stories you write and/ or the sort of illustrations you want.

Most artists, even if it's for monetary gain, would be more amenable to illustrating the types of scene that appeal to them - and on the other hand, many would say a definite 'no' to certain scenarios. I think it's best to call that out early.

Good luck!

Several years ago I commissioned an artist who called himself endart. Some of his work can still be seen at various locations. He was really good, I thought so anyway. I would pick one of the female characters from his existing work. The way I went about it was starting out by saying I would like 5 drawings, lets say. Then I would list what I wanted for example,

Drawing 1. We see the girl coming home from school through her front door.

Drawing 2. We see the girl sitting on her bed. Her father is lecturing her.

Drawing 3. We see the girl slipping off her panties, etc., etc.

The point is I described in very close detail what I wanted to see in each drawing. This would have been in the mid 90's. I would have maybe 5 - 7 drawings made. At the time, the set would cost about $500.00. Be very specific as to what you want illustrated. Of course I wasn't trying to illustrate a story already written. I had my own scenario in my head that I wanted illustrated. What's nice about this if you have a very specific scenario, and I'm pretty picky about mine, you can have exactly what you want illustrated.
