I watched a video recently in which a woman was sitting on a plastic mat not dissimilar to a door mat. Is this something others are aware of? Is it part of the spanking lore here?

We employ similar methods on occasion. Very simply you just get a small roll of that carpet protector matting that people use under office chairs, cut it to fit a regular chair seat, and turn it upside down so the nubby spikes face upwards. After a spanking, or even without a spanking, sitting on such a surface for an extended period can get pretty uncomfortable without doing any damage.

One thing that amuses my Rosa is when I am allowed to stand and have to peel the mat off of my bottom. She also likes the dimple pattern it leaves on my cheeks. And if you get spanked AFTER having been 'dimpled', the spanking really hurts!

That sounds harsh! Does it mark after?

It's not as bad as you think. The only time it got really challenging was one time when Rosa came and sat on my lap. The mat leaves a series of pinkish-red dimples that fade after a bit very similar to the rope pattern you get if you lay in a rope hammock in a swimsuit. Nothing very permanent though.

I've used a bath tub mat where the subby had to sit feet up, spanked bottom on the little plastic points. It's really effective.

You can also put the mat over something and ride it like a pony.

Or taking it up a notch, there are those rubber 'cleat cleaners' that are used in baseball.......

Actually, anything with a rough texture works pretty well. We used to have a wicker footstool from Ikea that was ideal.

The ones I am most familiar with are called cocoa mats or or coco moir mats. They sell them at home depot etc., basically they are the bristly door mats you frequently see. Every spanko should own or at least experience one.

Why is this not in any story here already? I can imagine "The Cocoa Experience" for a start.
