I was just viewing the "In Memoriam" page on this site; it had been a while since I'd looked, and I felt I wanted to pay my respects. It really is a lovely tribute page Flopsy and Februs have set up to honor beloved LSF members who are no longer with us. I still think about sweet Barb and Pat (Bendover), as I knew them better than the others - well, as much as you can "know" people online. Thank you for helping preserve their memory, as well as the memory of the others gone from us too soon. They are deeply missed.

I agree, often think of several ones who have left us. Sad indeed.

It's very sad to see these people fall ill and sadder yet when they pass. I am a relative newcomer to the site in the past couple of years but in the time I have been here I have been blessed to get to know several wonderful people and everyone is most kind. There are a core group who always read and comment on my poems and stories and I am ever thankful for their support. So to lose any of these fine and like minded souls is tragic indeed.

We've lost some fine members.

"A life that touches others goes on forever"

The 'In Memoriam page' is a fine part of this forum, may not be visited often, but like any 'memorial' it is always there for those who find it or seek it.

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old......................

That page brought home to me how small our world can be in the online realm sometimes. Jeanny was a good friend of mine in chat - one of the first to welcome a very young spanko just beginning to dip her toes into 'this thing we do'. She took me under her wing and taught me much that I needed to learn in those early days!

When I looked in curiosity at the Memorium page, I wasn't expecting to be thrown back so many years into the past to see a name that I knew well, but I was also glad to remember her, and to see others remembering her as well.

Others I know were friends of those I knew though I never knew them personally. I'm glad there is a space here for them to be remembered.

Slightly off topic, but I heard that "Aunt Kay" of The Disciplinary Wives Club has passed away, according to her husband.

It's two years come July since my beautiful Isabel aka 'Siver Lady' passed away.
You're still in my thoughts Issy.

I'm a little worried about Crimson Kid since he doesn't seem to have posted or even commented on a story in over six months. I've followed his posts here and on the newsgroups for twenty years and I've never known him to take a break.

I got a message from CK regarding a comment I made on one of his stories less than a week ago, so he's still out there, tyrport.
