Yes, Google took it down and never specifically gave me a solid reason as to why beyond their standard rhetoric. I don't know what policies I violated and they wouldn't tell me. I see hundreds of similar blogger type sites selling comics, linking to other sites and posting stories and pictures. I was always very careful about what I posted. I always gave credit to artists, photographers and authors.
That site was the fifth or sixth incarnation I created along those lines.
Yes, I had some great stories archived there.
I had a number of them saved with the idea I would resurrect the site in another form but decided to move on to other projects. I chime in on forums here and there but I have no plans to create a new site.
An unethical person did create a new blog by postin a lot of the stories from Beyond The Magic Box. He even went so far as to name the blog BTMB or something to that effect.
Running a site is a thankless and difficult job sometimes. Most of what I created I did for the fans. So, I appreciate the remembrance. Cheers |
