Working in the second person is one of the hardest thing for any writer to do. There are so few novels written in the second person that I believe that wikipedia lists them all.

What is the second person? Addressing the reader directly. As in:
You reach the door. You hesitate for a moment, then knock, knowing what will happen when the door opens. You wince as she opens the door, looking you square in the eye. You open your mouth, but no sound comes out.
____
That sort of thing.

Well, Welcome To Nightvale has released an entire audio story that's told in the first person. Welcome To Nightvale is a podcast that's basically "Lake Wobegon" if Lake Wobegon was set in the Twilight Zone. In this story, the entire radio broadcast is addressed to You and in the second person.

You can find a copy of it at http://podbay.fm/show/536258179/e/1452865963?autostart=1 . Even if you don't enjoy odd things, this is the only second person audio story that I've ever heard. It's worth a listen.

My not-entirely-serious school story, 'A Visit to the Head', is second person.

I recommend Smeple's story "You" from one of the latest challenges. Outstanding, serious story in second person.

On the vanilla side, I recommend Jon McGregor's novel "Even the Dogs" written in second person plural ("we" form)!

Thanks for the shout-out, Alef, I was really proud of that story.
