Resources for spanking meetups

Greetings to all,
I've been pretty ill for the past couple of years but after several surgeries and time lost in hospitals, I'm finally pretty much back to normal. One thing I've noticed since I've been "back in the game" is that it's much harder now than ever before to find spanking partners from internet for real life encounters. Fetlife, Collarme (now Collarspace) and the now-defunct SpankFinder used to be great resources, but now replies are a rare luxury and there seem to be fewer users. I don't know if this is due to the rise of mobile internet, leaving fewer people in the world like me who use it on actual computers or if there's some other cause behind it all.

At any rate, I was wondering if anyone on here knows of any resources other than the ones I've listed. Between the heavy schedule I'm working right, providing care for infirm family members, and my general awkwardness, I'm not too talented at finding a lady to spank among the general population of the vanilla world.

Though it isn't perfect, the best luck I've had so far is with conventional dating/hook-up sites such as okcupid. It's possible to make a profile which hides your identity (no photo of your face, no name like your real name...) so that you can be completely forward about what you are looking for. Some people may be shocked and even react rudely, but on the plus side, there are many people out there looking for their dreams to come true, who have never even heard of fetlife....

I have actually noticed the same thing as OTKinCT2. It seems that back in the 90's there were all kinds of spanking sites that had actual personals as part of the site. For example, if you live in the US you could click on personals, then find your state and if I remember correctly, once you found your state you could find your area. These personals were so easy to use. They also contained listings of all the countries in Europe as well and possibly others. I really miss those days.

It seems now that there are just no avenues for finding spanking partners. I have put my name and interests out there in a few forums but haven't had any responses. Some of these posts are now a few years old and some even interested in what I have to offer might figure that the post is so old that it's not worth trying to respond. I have really given up by now but it was really nice back in the day when there were easy approaches to finding spanking partners.

I thought with increase in technology things were supposed to get easier, not more difficult or disappear altogether.

I think mobile internet is largely to blame. Now that most people just browse on their phones and tablets, meaningful conversation outside of texting has fallen to the wayside. A lot of the sites I used to depend on don't render well on mobile devices and a lot of people have left them behind. 32 and I'm already old. That's a rather unfortunate realization.

Craigslist has a personals section. You have to be honest and open about your desire and just say you are looking for a SpankO partner. Give the details and cross your fingers.

I've thought about taking that route but have worried about attracting scammers/someone replying as a joke in the guise of a woman wanting to be spanked. I'm thinking of trying it out though, as the traditional ways don't seem to be working out so well anymore.

You have to pay to be able to send messages, and the site is terrible (it's obviously a template for a regular hook-up site converted to a spanking themed site) but worth it to pay one month to find out if there are folks in your area. Trade email addresses in the first few messages and neither of you have to subscribe any more.

Fetlife is not specifically designed to find people like that but its relative easy to find someone that shares your interests and get to know them. There are plenty of spankos not just bdsm on there.

I have actually used Craigslist and did have success with it. I had totally forgotten about that until I just read spankdaddys post . I also may just give that another try. I did exactly what spankdaddy suggests, just put out exactly what you are looking for and hope for the best.

I'm giving PleaseSpankMe and Craiglist a go. So far PSM says all the women in my state haven't been online in a few weeks. A few of the profiles do look legitimate though and I must say a few of those ones feature girls who would be heaven to have over my knee.
