Do women, when enduring a severe punishment (or perhaps when confronted with the inevitability of the same) need to, tend to, have to be careful not to, or even like to - pee that is?

It's a matter of simple hydraulics. Regardless of your gender, laying across someone's lap can put pressure on your bladder. Best to empty it first.

Like Guy I don't qualify as a lady, but he's right. There's also the case of nerves and that can happen whether you are male or female. Like he said, better to be sure than sorry.

After one bad experience as a child, I always made a point to pee first. I'll give you my answer. I never liked to and as my mother could drag out a spanking, I had to be careful.

It is not unusual for women who are nervous, frightened or upset to feel pressure in their bladder. Stress often manifests itself in this manner. If a woman says she's gotta go, let her go or you run the risk of a very embarrassing accident. These days with the weather warming, women carry water bottles everywhere in order to remain hydrated. Full bladders need to be emptied.

Yes, it's a perfectly probable consequence of a host of physiological & psychological factors, namely, my bum is being whacked, I am forced to adopt a revealing posture, the cane (or whatever implement) is hitting close to my genitals & I have not peed [or allowed to pee] before my punishment & I am scared as hell.

I've found both in giving and receiving spankings that there is immense psychological pressure involved when someone is told that they will be spanked or caned but will not first be permitted to relieve themselves. As a woman, I've faced the dread prospect of abject humiliation should I lose control while being disciplined. I've also seen women start to lose it completely when they start feeling an increasing and relentless urge to urinate but are denied the privilege. Men react similarly, especially when being disciplined by a woman, which to many men, is itself highly humiliating. It also appears that in general women have a harder time retaining because our urethras are shorter.
