That's funny, because I already have a similar system, but using Dungeons & Dragons polyhedral dice!
Basically, I wrote up a rather complex "scenario generator", which is actually a listing of a crap-ton of potential scenario factors. I start rolling various combinations of dice, and by the time I'm done rolling dice, I should have everything that will appear in a scene.
Sadly, however, my biggest problem currently is with making myself sit down and actually WRITE. I can easily roll the dice and know everything that will happen in the scene. But the dice can't make me sit down and actually write it.
I've recently come to the realization that I don't have "writer's block". Instead, I'm suffering from a combination of "lazy ass" and "I have other things to do now". At the time I was writing the stories I have so far submitted, more than ten years ago, my life situation was such that I really didn't have anything better to do. I found myself in a situation somewhat similar to my early teenage years: I didn't have easy access to porn/erotica, so I created my own, in written form.
Now, I can look at all the porn/erotica I want, and I'm deprived of that old motivation.
So maybe I can find some new motivation. I think I've already mentioned this here, but I've been in discussions/negotiations with a local Domme ... I'm wanting to try "switching" a bit. We're finally meeting up on Monday, May 11, and she's going to spank the living daylights out of me (hopefully). So perhaps she and I can work out an arrangement where, if I don't produce a story, I'm gonna get it :D |
