Spanking returns to TV

Reports are coming that the new Outlander TV show will be faithful to the book - and include spankings.

People are tweeting that it will be a M/F scene, with a sword belt.

When will this be on? What channel will it be on?

This sounds like terrific news - the nice thing about the books is that the spankings, though infrequent, are treated as a normal part of the life in the 18th century. There's the occasional references to this art being used for pleasure as well.

It is airing on a pay-cable channel called Starz. A few weeks ago, the network's website had a link to view the first episode online for free, but to watch the series you will need to subscribe. Alas, that is not one of our premium channels at home, so I had to be satisfied with only one episode.

It is a great series of books, though. The eighth one just came out a few months ago.

I am currently up to book 5 and loving the series.... the male characters certainly have a thing for well-rounded female buttocks and the books recount several spankings, predominantly M/m and M/M with the odd M/F. I am highly suspicious that the author is a secret spanko if not an outright one going by her drawn out descriptions of the M/F spanking and her many descriptions of spankable female buttocks and the 2 main males (Jamie and Rodger ... Rodger appears later on) interest in spanking them!

I am enjoying the Outlander TV series. They are well acted and keep fairly close to the first novel so far. I wonder if they will include the scene where Jamie straps Claire with his belt? The main characters' recollections, and other minor characters teasing after this scene are brilliantly portrayed in the Outlander novel. I am truly hooked on this series of novels and will faithfully watch the TV series while it adheres to the books.

I have vague memories of seeing drafts for Outlander on Compuserve many, many years ago, mostly as a spanking story with other plot added in. If memory serves, the spankings took a backseat and the plot exploded out to a series of books.

I have seen the first and second episodes. Those were the only two shown. So far, no spanking scenes.

The spanking was a bit later in the book. It should be in the next episode or the 4th if it follows the book. I have DVR'd the first 2 episodes and watched them both several times. So far it goes with the book exactly. I am loving it.

I have seen a lot more spanking in mainstream TV these days. I cant tell you which episodes, but I have seen very detailed otk spanking in prime time shows like Community.

Seth McFarland may also be spanko. He dedicated an entire episode of the animated, American Dad to spanking. His more well known show, Family guy has had numerous spankings throughout the years.

These are just a few examples I can think of right now, there have been many more. I cant be the only one who has noticed.
