CrimsonKidCK:
I've always believed that we Yankees would exact retribution for the attack on Fort Sumter sooner or later.

I thought General Sherman had already taken care of that.

I use avatars when I'm posting to You-Tube or Face Book and frequently post entire photographs of myself at my Yahoo Groups website Theatre Group along with my spanking artwork so trust me I'm not really worried keeping any secret identity. I don't have any avatar here yet basically because I haven't gotten around to it yet and don't feel any real need to set up one right now. Loved Futurama by the way. Check out The Awesomes on Hulu which has several similarities.

I have no intention of displaying my avatar. I'm twelve feet tall with blue skin.

Njrick, I suppose I don't have to reply to this since some kind hearted person gave me an avatar, but since you called me out by name, or at least by user name, I'll reply anyway. Why is this such a big deal to you? You say you want to get to know be better. Do you really know me any better now that I have an avatar? If you would like to know a few things about me, I'll tell you. I'm 65 years old, live in Kentucky, am a little bit overweight, okay a lot overweight, have both a bachelors and a masters degree, am retired with a disability, and root for the Kentucky Wildcats, especially the basketball team. I once had a large comic book collection, but sold off most of them over the years, just to keep bills paid. I also have a fair selection of science fiction and horror books, rock and roll CDs, and assorted DVDs. Anything else you would like to know, just ask.

Should a non-author have an avatar?

Absolutely! And yours is wonderful.

Actually, it isn't. Perhaps I should have used my "humor font" when I made the post. I figured that most people who had been around here a while would recognize the burlesque in my rant. And the others? Hm... I guess I hadn't thought about them. Your avatar is great, btw.

Rick, ALL your rants and comments (burlesque or otherwise) make me laugh. So please don't stop making them.

Pick an image you like, preferably a small one (the avatar is limited to 50 X 50 pixels, I understand) and send an email to Februs and he'll take care of it for you. You can even have an animated .gif if you want (note mine) but remember it will likely be "shrunk" and you might lose some detail...

You can go on any author's page or go to the members listing for non-authors and quickly find the person who you want to send a pop up. On the side of the page before their name there is a little envelope, which when you click on it will come up with a screen to them so you can write what ever you like. Pop-ups are for the person only so no need to worry about others reading it.

Have fun
