Paddle & my tailbone

Friends,

I am a middle-aged male in a wonderful, sex and spanking-positive marriage of seventeen years. I have long been obsessed with the American-style wooden paddle ("board of education") as it was the focus of my childhood and adolescent fears. I would like to experience some very severe paddlings from my wife. I am a terrible wimp, however, so I also think I should be restrained and gagged for such an episode.

All this is fine and well. My sole concern is that I have a rather "boney" butt. Is there a danger that my tailbone will be seriously injured? Is there a position that will allow for severe punishment but protect the tailbone? The traditional school position was "grab your ankles," which I long for. But I fear that this would leave my tailbone very exposed. Any of you have had similar concerns/experiences?

Just thinking logically, the tailbone is near the top of the "buttcrack" and is reasonably well-protected. Just stay away from the top area and concentrate on the sit-spots and area where the buttocks meet the tops of the thighs and you should be fine...

I would suggest avoiding positions where the buttocks are taut, ie bent over. Perhaps try on a bed with some pillows under your tummy. Then the person with the paddle can concentrate on the lower half of the buttocks and the 'sit spot' but any 'off' strokes are less likely to injure your back. A broken coccyx is incredibly painful and debilitating!

The classic position for the type of paddle you want to be disciplined with is the bent over position with hands on upper thighs or knees. This position draws the tailbone further up into your back and should be safe. As the others above have mentioned, the swats should be administered to the lower part of your buttocks say where upper thigh and buttocks cheek meets. This is the was most of the schools did it when I was growing up.

As others have said the bent over position and striking the lower portion of the buttocks is the correct technique. Michael Masterson of Real Spanking Instutite and assoiated sites is partial to the school paddle. If you check out any of the RealSpanking sites you will see plenty of pictures and videos of the proper way to administer paddlings.

Have your paddler protect your coccyx with his/her hand. In some pictures of school paddlings, you will see the paddler grab the back of the student's belt. This serves to simultaneously restrain and to protect the coccyx. Regardless how bad someone's aim might be, they are unlikely to hit their own hand.

In my childhood, my big brother belonged to a high school "fraternity". Their main function seemed to involve building and decorating fearsome paddles and finding reasons to use them on each other. I distinctly remember my brother explaining their technique, which involved sticking one hand inside their victim's belt to protect their "tailbone".

(I was once naive enough to allow him to demonstrate a "mild" swat on my bottom. I saw red for several seconds after the impact! I complained to my mother, who laughed at my stupidity.)
