I'm sure most of us at some point, will have made virtual friends with someone on the internet, either on a forum or chat site etc. But then, when that person suddenly disappears, we are left wondering what has happened to them.

And if we are talking kinky sites like this one where such friendships are formed, then unless we became particularly close to the person concerned and formed a friendship outside of the site, we are left to assume whether they disappeared because they lost interest in the kink, or gave way to pressure from a spouse/partner, deliberately left the scene, or even become ill or died.

Anyway, I miss seeing Edb around the place, and he hasn't responded to my emails enquiring if everything is well.

So if you are out there Edb, come back at once or I'll set Miss Thrashbottom onto you.

I've wondered the same thing recently. I know he lost someone close to him a while back, but he was commenting and posting again after that, then disappeared again. I want to know what happened with the RDSC, they still had some unfinished business.

Add me to the list. I wondering about Ed earlier this week and I, too, hope that he'll rejoin us soon.

I forgot all about Ebd. I liked this authors writing. I will have to go back and read some of the stories.

Thanks for raising this, flopsy. I was meaning to ask you.
I certainly hadn't forgotten about Edb, particularly around Christmas time
when I missed his usual good wishes and he didn't respond to mine.
When we were last in touch, he was speculating with his usual verve
as to the direction in which the RDSC was going next.
I do hope that all is well and that he gets in touch.

Sorry you haven't found edb, flopsy. I am so happy Brian V contacted you. I was so sorry to hear that he had gotten injured but happy he is getting better and even came back and wrote a story. He was gone for over a year. Hopefully we will hear from edb and soon! How about Don Landhill and Sampast. I haven't seen anything from them lately either.

I know Ed had some personal issues some time ago. He did come back briefly, but has disappeared again since. It seems to be the way of the internet. I used to like talking with Billboard and reading his comments on my work, but he seems to have dropped out of sight as well.

There's a big difference between the two situations though as we know Billboard busy doing other stuff whereas edb effectively disappeared in the middle of an ongoing dialogue we were having with him and was never seen or heard from again.

And then there are those of us you can't get rid of no matter how hard you try. No bb or edb, but altogether too much rm. Such is life on the internet.

In all seriousness, I hope that both edb (despite his abrupt disappearance) and BB are out there in the real world doing what's rewarding to them.

While we're mentioning absent friends who've seemed to have disappeared without a trace, I'll add the name of one of my favorite commenters, anitalynn, not seen here in the LSF for going on two years.
