Another great performer. He was a classic in "Marty," as well as all of his other performances.

I was so sorry to hear about Ernest Borgnine passing! He was a wonderfully talented actor. It's hard to believe we've lost two prominent actors in such a short period of time! He will be missed...

Borgnine was one of the early actors to successfully transition from film to TV, and he seemed to be able to move between the two mediums without ever losing his edge. He was a highly underrated actor.

He had the rare ability to play lovable characters like Quinton McHale and guys who make your skin crawl like Fatso Judson with equal dexterity. He'll be missed.

Yes a sad loss although I thought he died years ago. I felt embarassed for him when i read about Ethel Merman, his ex-wife's, refernce to him in her autobiography!

The line about Fatso Judson resonates with me, that was one of my father's favourite books and films.
