IIRC there was also a Yahoo! group called "LDS (Latter-Day Saints) Disciplinary Women," which featured Mormon wives/girlfriends who were heads of their households in domestic discipline marriages/relationships--it was the only religious-based domestic discipline internet site I've ever come across that was F/M in gender orientation.

It struck me as quite unusual because I'd always considered the Church of Latter-Day Saints to promote a rather paternalistic social order... --C.K.

I am a Christian and I have had foster children, some people take God's word too far, it's with love that you train your child, not beat them, but show them wright from wrong , good from bad. but only because God say's train your child up in the way he or she should go . spare the rod just mean's it is better to carm down and and go and get something than just hit out when you angry, your hand's are for loving. It also so dosen't mean beat the child, I know of many churches or people that just spank once's for twice. We are not meant to know , but just look at the state the youth are in , no manner's no care for no one can touch them .

And some of them can't even spell properly.....

I think the reason 'christian' D/d is referred to is that it's biblically stated that the male shall lead and the female should submit to his leadership. It's the same as the male being the HOH...and his wife deferring to his judgement. There is a belief that he of course, leads with her well being in mind and he listens to her input before deciding those things..which is often times not stated and shades it much differently.

Spanking Christians can be lots of fun - especially if they're female and Catholic. That inbred sense of guilt makes for a great sub mindset....
