Please send all answers to the Head Librarian by Pop Up Message; I specifically said that I did not want to know what the ingredients of chicklings and bag are, as it sounds positively medieval !!

Don't believe a word of it - he's DYING to know. If anyone can send him a little sample in a pie or something, I'm sure he would be delighted

In the southern US Chitlins are fried pork intestines. I don't eat innards! Yuck!

My grandmother always advised me to wear a long sweater to "keep my chitlings warm". I've done so since then and I have to say that I've never suffered from cold chitlings

Chitlings or Chitterlings are the small intestines of a hog or pig. If you have eaten link sausage you have eaten Chitlings as the sausage meat is packed into the pig intestine casing to become a sausage link.
