Thank you so much everyone for the birthday wishes, I had an absolutely fabulous day with plenty of booze and good company. B-day spanking had to be delayed due to visitors but back to normal now

For those who like horses, meet Binky aged 6 months He was chosen for his size and unusual markings...

A gorgeous creature with distinctive markings - and your foal's quite nice too!

Seriously, I propose Binky as official library mascot.

AlanBarr:

What a great idea, he looks great, you will have to post more pictures when he is standing and as he grows. I always wanted a pony for my birthday when I was young, I never knew people actually got one!

lol I am lucky, I have had horses since I was teeny Binky is now one of three I have but he is intended as my new riding horse once he is grown and my older mare is ready to retire in a few years.

What a beautiful young foal. You must be very happy with him, and what an appropriate name – Pinky´s Binky!!

Binky!!!? I would have thought something more appropriate than Binky could surely be found! How about Crisp? There was an Australian horse called Crisp that ran in the Grand National once. I think it ended up being pipped at the post by Red Rum! Obviously it's up to you Your Pinkness, if you want to call him Binky, you go right ahead. Anyway speaking of crisps you will have to cut down on them if you want him to be able to bear your weight!
