Name Change Possible, or Pen Names?

When I signed up, I picked a fairly random username that doesn't fit. Since then I've become more active in the community (on other sites) under a different name, and I'm interested in submitting stories for possible publication.

I respect that LSF is one account per person, and I want to follow the rules.

Is there a process to change usernames here?

Or is there a way that authors can indicate "I also write stories under this pen name?".

Or to keep the original user name, but upload/publish under a pen name?

I want to stay within the rules and respect the community, as I love this site and the work it is doing.

You will need to use info/contact us to discuss it with the admins, but it shouldn't be a problem. Some people have an author name on LSF which is different from their member name, and then a third name for LSF publications.

It isn't possible to change your site name, but if you intend to submit some stories for us to load for you, you can choose a different author name, and we'll link the two.

If you haven't done so already I suggest you check out the Author Guide, which is accessible from the Info button once you're logged into the site.

When you first get in touch, use Contact Us, which is routed through to our email - we don't publicise it in order to minimise spam.
