Question about comments

I have heft a few comments on stories. They show up in my comment count and I can see them in “myLSF”. However, these do not appear to be included in my view-to-comment ratio which still claims I’m a “non commenter”. Is there a reason for this? Do only certain types of comment count towards the ratio?

The one thing that comes to mind for me is, are you commenting in the comment section at the end of the story so it shows up there, or are you sending a message to the author? Just asking.

I see that you are a new member. I believe that initially comments need to be reviewed/validated by the administrators, and perhaps that needs to happen before they "count." You may just need to be patient. Or maybe I don't have the slightest idea what I'm talking about. Just keep commenting (too many people don't); the authors will appreciate it. Eventually it'll work out.

Yes, as has been pointed out, your comment count has incremented now everything has been checked.
