I would very much like to support LSF by subscribing and supporting the efforts of those who post here. I tried to use a Visa gift card to subscribe through Paypal but received an error repeatedly. I did some research and learned that I'm only able to use a gift card within the US where it was purchased. Is the LSF account a UK entity? If so, does anyone have another solution for subscribing? I'm hesitant to use my real card as it leaves an identity trail. I would appreciate any help available. Thanks.

I use PayPal to purchase mine. Find something else to buy with the gift. Think of the story you can avoid. “ What did you use the gift card for? “

You might even be able to use the gift card to add funds to your PayPal account and then use those funds later.

Yes, we are UK based. I'm afraid the only option for subscribing is via Paypal - you don't even need a Paypal account to subscribe.
Fully understand your need for privacy, but it will be Paypal that will process your sub, not us, and the only reference to appear on your credit/debit card statement is quite sanitised. Payments will appear on statements as follows: CARD PAYMENT TO PAYPAL *EBOOKPUB
