db105:
Does anyone know where to find the stories posted to the USENET by "Randy" (using the email address sarah3333@aol.com)? They are impossible to find even in Google Groups, except for a couple of them, like this one:

They are all still on usenet, the problem is that the search function on Google Groups has been broken for quite some time now and Google seem totally disinterested in fixing it. It's a pity really as since Google acquired the Deja news archive they effectively hold a monopoly on the availability of the newsgroup archive. I can't believe that fixing it would be that difficult as a large part of what is broken is that any posts in a group beyond the first 10,000 don't get searched. There are other problems too but fixing that one alone would improve things enormously.

For further info and rather than listen to me rant about it, see:

"Missing authors"? I have three of their heads (from two separate authors) mounted on shields on the walls of my mansion in Transylvania, but how many have I missed? I'm not a good shot.

One wirter that I love and would like to see join here is cat tab_itha@hotmail I think. She does Jack and Danny and I am so hooked on those two I bought the book! I just wish she would finish it up.

Like most writers of spank fiction though the comments are few and far between so she sighs and has a cry.

I know about 100 writers of spank fiction that tell some very good stories. They are all M/M. A few write fan fiction on Lord of the Rings.

If anyone is interested let me know and I will send off emails to them.

I have been trying to check out e-mails, including sarah3333@aol.com. Not much results. I am also trying to obtain stories, not on the google archives. I am also having difficulties. I am trying to locate these authors, so that they will give permission to be in the Library. Many of these e-mails are still "alive" but they are not being monitored There are some great stories out there. They could be lost forever..

I've been hopelessly out of touch for a long time; where does one find Rosewood on the net these days, please?

rollin

Rollin, would you be willing to post a zip file of those stories somewhere, maybe mediafire.com or a similar site? I'd be very grateful, because I remember those stories fondly.

Jon Thorn seems to have disappeared from the scene completely.
This is a shame as he was I believe one of the leading lights of Lowewood, had started his own historical series which suddenly stopped and has written a couple if imo excellent serials.
I hope he is well and that he has just left the scene. I write this here as one of his serials is half completed on this library.

Very odd about SeƱor Thorn. His own website, last updated in March 2010, leaves us up in the air halfway through the 'Pippa' saga (and ain't she a sweetie?). Only those sensible enough to join this library find out what happened next.
Perhaps he's relaxing on some desert island, cut off from the internet, his brow fanned with palm fronds by relays of bare-breasted beauties control yourself graypaul.
Never mind, we have rollin and jimisim, two of our more inventive authors, to fill the vacuum. Though I will second db105's appeal to rollin to get us up to speed on sarah3333 and Rosewood.
