When i noticed that "or" series by juanoneone was 7 parts i thought maybe each one represents one of the 7 deadly sins that could lead to an unfair spanking ... i love unfair spanking stories and that's why juanoneone is my favourite author ... so just for fun i matched every part with a sin ... it went like so :
1 - Envy
2 - greed
3 - sloth
4 - lust
5 - wrath
6 - gluttony
7 - pride

I'd have to re-read the stories to see how well they matched up, but spanking stories each based on one of the seven deadly sins sounds like a great idea for a series!

No spanking is ever unfair, just unexpected!

Back in the sixties we had a schoolmaster that would find a boy to cane at the end of almost everyday. ‘Report to me at 4’ was a very unwelcome instruction, and he made a point of making the session last for at least ten minutes for his enjoyment. Always six of the best. I am sure some deserved it, but most almost certainly not. Unfair, very much so!

In those days getting the cane was not something you broadcast at home. It was a hazard of life and the master in question took seven lessons every day so he had around 175 boys to choose from for his victim of the day. It was clearly driven by his kink and it was simply at his discretion if you were allowed to keep your trousers on or drop them. He quite liked making boys remove them all together and sometimes underpants as well for a bare bottom caning. As previously said some probably deserved punishment but most not and unfairly dealt with.

Seven reasons, reminds me when I tried to write a parser for a text adventure around 1985 and tried to determine how many subprograms were needed for events. Back then I came up with maybe four and at most half a dozen (six of the best?). At first I thought that I would be lucky if I could reduce it to a dozen subprograms. It all went downhill when I started the program, which ended with a memory error when defining the array for the text variables since the computer would assign 256 bytes beforehand for the empty fields. With only 11.5 kB available it more than filled the memory at once.
What I am trying to say is, that you will always see lots of reasons, but in the end it all will be done to even less since pro and con (+ and -) will often be two sides of the coin (a reason).

Getting caught is unexpected, you did the crime expecting to get away with it. Once you got caught you expected the spanking in times gone past.

Getting a spanking after your brother spinned tales can hardly be fair. At least a spanking isn't a death sentence. It can't be taken back but at least it isn't the end of days.

Another memory and also being caught unexpected. One of my pals and I were spotted smoking at the railway station on the way home. We were not aware until the following morning when in Assembly our names were read out with the instruction to see the Headmaster at morning break. As expected we both received the mandatory caning, six rapid strokes bending over touching our toes in front of each other. The only problem was that whilst I was very much guilty my pal did not smoke and was completely innocent. He protested his innocence but the Headmaster was unmoved. Unfair, very much so!

In Germany we say (more like think it) 'Caught together, hung together. Your pal knew that you were naughty, he had to expect that he would be hung by your side.
He probably wanted to share your bad ass reputation. But that comes with a prize. He had to accept the consequences that come with it as well.
Life isn't always fair.
