You might enjoy "A cottage in the woods part 1" by Vincent. (there is also a part 2 by some ne'er do well calling himself opb). This has the sort of theme you described.

Just status or age and status?

I suppose the closest story I have written with that theme is Red for Renee in which a young female doctor is spanked by a nurse old enough to be her mother.
Its a fine plotline however. Especially if the higher status lady is also one who is very arrogant, haughty and stuck- up. Like a spoiled rich society matron spanked by the handyman or a prominent lady lawyer or businesswoman spanking by the cleaning lady of her office building.

Yes it is essential that the "high status" lady is actually inferior in some respect to the "low status" person who spanks her. I can't imagine that a story in which for example a highly qualified and efficient admiral of the US navy got spanked by a misguided ordinary seaman would work. On the other hand if the seaman was the one person on deck who has realised that, blinded by her own self importance, the admiral was issuing orders that put the mission in jeopardy it would be most satisfying to see her turned over his knee for a sound spanking.
